DESCRIPTION:SPRING TIME ON THE FARM – A unique farm experience for all the family! \nCome and join us on the farm for an indoor lamb & highland cow experience at our Lochton Farm where you will have the chance to meet me\, Grace (Shepherdess)\, the ewes and their newborn lambs (you may even see a live lambing) along with our highland cattle. You will also have the opportunity to cuddle the lambs and have plenty photo opportunities!  \nI will spend some time telling you what makes lambing such an enjoyable time on the farm\, what happens during the rest of the Ewes and Lambs year – from shearing of their wool in Summer to getting ready for breeding time in Winte along with seing some newborn highland calves and how we care for them.  \nDuring and after your experience there will be hand-washing facilities and hand gel available to ensure good hygiene safety.  \nAt the end of the tour there will be hot or cold refreshments and shortbread provided in the shop barn\, we will also have a stock of our highland beef available to purchase (while stocks last) \nDogs are welcome to the farm walk but are NOT permitted on the experience or in the stables.  \nNo food or drink is allowed to be consumed in the lambing or highland shed for health and hygiene reasons.  \nUse of hand washing facilities and hand gel is strongly encouraged when in contact with farm animals and their surroundings.  \nTour duration: 1.5 Hour   \nUpon purchasing a ticket for this event you agree to the Food and Farm Terms and Conditions  \nPLEASE NOTE: Appropriate footwear and clothing must be worn on the day\, our farm is a working farm and weather can be changeable here in Aberdeenshire – please ensure you wear comfy\, non restrictive clothing where possible.
