SHEEP SHEARING EVENT (ALL GENDERS)
Ever fancied having a turn at shearing a sheep? This all gender event offers you the chance to have a relaxed, non-pressured chance with one-to-one supervision from experienced hands Ian, Morgan & Roy.
We will also have Julie from Uanwool here to show you how to-prepare fleeces and talk you through the process of how she makes her fantastic woollen items.
You may have your own sheep or you have just fancied a go – we look forward to welcoming you!
You will be with a max group size of 20 (aged 16+) where you will get to watch a demonstration then take your own turn and get as hands on as you like!
A farm lunch will also be included (please do let us know of any dietary requirements in advance).
At the end of the day you will get to take home your very own wool pillow (worth £30+)**
Spaces are limited so please book well in advance to guarantee your spot!
Tour duration: 4.5 Hour (Including lunch and home baking)

PLEASE NOTE: Appropriate footwear and clothing must be worn on the day, our farm is a working farm and weather can be changeable here in Aberdeenshire – please ensure you wear comfy, non restrictive clothing where possible. Old trainers and clothes you do not mind getting dirty/overalls would be ideal.
**Pillows provided will be pre-made and will not be made from the wool sheared on the day
